WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE FINAL HOME SALE/PURCHASE PRICE DO YOU CHARGE?
Commissions are always negotiable. I'd be happy to sit down with you and discuss your goals and ultimately share why you will be best served by using me as your real estate agent.
WHAT ARE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS?
I was born and raised right here in the Rockford area, and that lifelong connection to this community is at the heart of everything I do as a Realtor. Over the years, I've built deep relationships through local leadership roles and closed hundreds of successful transactions for buyers and sellers across Illinois and Wisconsin, where I'm licensed to practice. I'm a multi-year Diamond Award-winning top producer with Dickerson & Nieman Realtors, and I've been honored to be voted "Best Real Estate Agent" by the community, with nominations in several other years as well. I was also voted on and awarded the Tom Z. Dickerson Award by my peers, a recognition I hold especially close. I currently serve as Secretary/Treasurer for the Northwest Illinois Association of Realtors (NWIAR) Board of Directors and sit on several key committees, including Vice-Chair of Forms/Contracts, Finance, Ethics, and Government Affairs — staying closely involved in the standards and practices that protect my clients. When you work with me, you're working with a true local who knows this community from the inside out.
HOW WILL YOU FIND POTENTIAL BUYERS FOR MY PROPERTY?
Through my expertise with social media marketing and access to professional photography and videography, your home will have the best chance of being shown to a wide audience. Unlike many agents, I'm a part of three different MLS systems which gets your home in front of as many buyers as possible. As the largest locally owned brokerage in the area, our brokerage also utilizes an off-market/confidential list where your home can be sold prior to listing, which offers convenience while still receiving competitive offers.
DO YOU DO COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE AS WELL?
Yes, through the years I've helped in the purchase and sale of industrial buildings, office/mixed use properties as well as drafting LOI's and assisting with commercial lease negotiations.
DO I NEED A REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY AS WELL?
You don't need one but I would strongly suggest it. Real estate attorneys are equipped to deal with some of the more complex legal matters involved in transactions. I can weigh in and share opinions, but I cannot give legal advice.
